The Social Democratic Party ( SDP), has elected Architect Jonathan Solomon Anyu’Abga as its candidate for seat of Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) in the 2027 general elections.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Hon Bello Ado Hussaini announced Anyu’Abga’s emergence during the party’s primary in Lafia.

He urged SDP stakeholders, party members and other members of the Constituency to work tirelessly for the victory of Hon Anyu’Abga in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking with newsmen, Architect Jonathan Solomon Anyu’Abga, SDP candidate for Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency appreciated SDP stakeholders and members for electing him as the party’s flag bearer ahead of 2027 general election.

According to him, My vision for the constituency is to empower communities through effective representation, sustainable development, and inclusive governance.

“As a dedicated servant, I pledge to represent the interests of our constituency with integrity, transparency, and accountability,” he stated further.

The young politician, tagged his political journey as “Youth O’Clock”, said that he has the capacity to deliver and involve people in development affairs.

“I am happy and overwhelmed that my party, SDP elected me as the flag bearer for Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency in the 2027 general election.

By God’s grace, if elected as Honourable member representing Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency, I will provide quality representation at the state legislature.

“I will also ensure that I initiate peoples oriented projects that will have direct bearing on the lives of our people

“I will empower the women and youths to enable them to become self reliant and contribute positively to the development of our constituency and the state at large,” he said.

The SDP candidate called on the people of the constituency to continue to pray and support him to succeed in 2027.
