The Minority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Abel Bala, has felicitated the Christian communities on Christmas with a call on them to embrace peace at all times.
This is contained in a statement issued by the minority leader on Saturday in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.
He urged the people of his constituency and the state to continue to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
“On this day of significant history, I rejoice with the Christian Communities in my constituency, Eggon West, the state and the country.
“It is our hope, believe and prayers that the period which is the time for the celebration will bring everlasting peace in our society and open new doors of prosperity, unity and harmony.
“Let’s us all use this all important period in the history of mankind to strengthening the bond of friendship and love that unite us.
“We should extend hands of love and fellowship to one another irrespective of our religion, ethnicity, politics and other differences,” he said.(NAN)
