YEYEDU Outreach Foundation has supported the Internally Displaced Children, widows and orphans with some food items, writing materials and cash donations in Gwada community, Shiroro Local Government in Niger State.
Miss Juliet Gbefwi, President of the foundation, while making the donations explained that the foundation has committed its activities to God and humanity for the development of the country.
According to her, “In our continuous support for the less privileged in Gwada community, Shiroro Local Government in Niger state, we are committed to make life better.
“With the message of hope from our Lord Jesus Christ according to Hebrews 13:5&6 that he’ll never leave them nor forsake them because they are his special wives.
Miss Juliet said the organisation, a Christian foundation, is aimed at reaching out to the vulnerable in the society.
She explained that the foundation was seeking to improve the quality of life of the less-privileged, children and women through initiatives that would enhance their access to good healthcare and quality education.
While calling for a better livelihood for the less-privileged in the society, she equally advised mothers on proper upbringing of their children to ensure a better and responsible nation.
She said the foundation envisions a society where no orphan and vulnerable child is deprived of education as well as women are empowered to achieve their potentials for the economic development of the country.
“We render services to make life better for children and the less privileged in the society, especially at the rural areas and far-to-reach communities.
“We have carried out different interventions in health, education, women empowerment and civic engagements in the country,” she said.
However, she also reiterated the foundation’s commitment in ensuring that indigent children, especially at the rural communities are carted for.
She added that the foundation has carried out several intervention programmes ranging from medical care, donation of food items and counselling, among other services.
Besides, she further explained that helping the widows and orphans in need is an act of kindness and a bigger reward awaits whoever is involved in such act. (NAN)
