Veteran Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi is dead.

The talented thespian passed away at the age of 57 on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Jos, the Plateau State.

Reports said the father of three died at the home of one of his siblings in Jos.

It was reported that he the State of Emergency and Take Me to Mama actor died early in the week after battling an undisclosed illness for several months with no successful treatment.

According to an inside source, disagreement between his siblings was the reason his death took almost a week to be made known.

The 1991graduate of Theater Arts from the University of Jos in Plateau State was said to have died after a protracted illness.

Meanwhile, his remains were said to have been deposited at the morgue of the Jos University Teaching Hospital

According to reports, the veteran actor recently relocated to his sister’s house in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

Saint Obi from a family of nine has acted in over 250 movies and clinched many awards during his years of acting in movies.

The Family of the actor is yet to announcement burial arrangement
