An unnamed supporter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) collapsed and died during the National convention of the party on Saturday.
The supporter was heading for Eagle Square, venue of the convention, when he slumped and passed away.
An eye witnessed said the deceased first complained of dizziness and shortly after, collapsed.
According some party faithful around, many of the party’s supporters rushed to resuscitate him, but he did not made it.
The deceased was later covered and taken away by some persons led by some security operatives assigned to provide security at the convention.
