Gov. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has said that President Bola Tinubu has beautiful and good plans that are aimed at making Nigeria great.

The governor stated this at a dinner organised by the state government to commemorate the 63rd Independence Day Celebration on Sunday in Jos.

The governor maintained that the ‘Renewed Hope” slogan of the president showed that he really want to fix the nation and place it on path of steady growth.

”I feel Mr president want to fix Nigeria; he means well for this nation.

”I have interacted with him and I have come to understand that his ‘Renewed Hope’ slogan speaks to the fact he has good intentions for this nation.

”I’m saying this from the nationalistic point of view, devoid of politics or other sentiments,”Mutfwang said.

Mutfwang, called on Nigerians to support the president toward moving the nation to greater heights.

The governor, who decried that his administration inherited an already collapsed system, promised to turn around its fortunes for the generation yet unborn.

”For us on the Plateau, we didn’t find any sector working when we came on board.

”Government decouments are typed in business centres and the civil service rule has been thrown to the dustbins.

”But my administration is a corrective one and we will do our best to change the narrative for good.
”My commitment is not just to make Plateau better than I met it, but I will make it the pride of Nigeria,”he promised.

The governor appealed to citizens of the state, home and abroad to support his administration in its bid to place Plateau on the path of steady growth and progress.

”My team I count on your support and prayers to succeed.

”For me the time has come and I think the time is now where those of us in leadership must rise and change the narrative,”the governor added.
