The Harmony Corps of Nigeria says President Bola Tinubu is working to transform Nigeria.
The Commandant General of the Corps, Mrs Elizabeth Omini made this known while addressing newsmen over the weekend in Abuja.
She urged Nigerians to pray for President Tinubu to overcome the challenges facing the nation and take the country to an enviable height.
“President Tinubu is trying his best to ensure that Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy across the country.
“He is going to achieve great things for Nigeria; it is just a matter of time, but he also needs prayers and not criticism, because, criticism is not the solution to our current challenges.
“The Holy Books says, we should pray for our leaders, for God to guide them and give them the wisdom to lead the country toward a direction that will benefit everyone.
“However, we need to commend the president for the achievements he has recorded in his first year in office. There are positives changes, especially in the FCT.
“The Minister of FCT, Nyesom Nwike has tried and he is doing well. He has changed the face of the FCT for good.
“Harmony Corps of Nigeria is also praying for Tinubu to succeed and bring back the lost glory of Nigeria,” Omini said.
She further appreciated and prayed for the safety of military personnel fighting against insecurity and securing the territorial integrity of the country.
Omini also prayed for the fallen heroes and consoled their families, adding that Nigerians should always declare blessings upon the country always.
She added that lot of Nigerians always fast and pray for their personal desires, neglecting the desires of Nigeria as a country.
“On the building collapse in Jos, we sympathise with the families that lost their loves ones.
“I also want to appeal to Nigerians to be their brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. We should imbibe the spirit of love and sharing, especially with the less privileged, and those in need of help.
“This is because, the economy situation is not favourable to a lot of Nigerians. The youths are also suffering.
“We appeal to the Federsl Government to announce our take off, so that the youths can have jobs, shun insurgency and kidnapping, and earn a decent living.
“Harmony Corps don’t have guns; the only gun we have is prayer. And since guns have failed us , let us pray to God, for Him to help Tinubu to restore the lost glory of Nigeria,” Omini said.
