The Nigeria Police Command in Ebonyi on Sunday said, it has begun investigation on the suspected cultists, that killed two persons in the state and dumped one body inside a well.
DSP Joshua Ukandu, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command in Abakaliki said thst that no arrest had been made over the dastardly act.
Ukandu stated that one of the victims, populary called “Ifeanyi” was killed in his girlfriend’s home, Amuzu Community in Ezza South Local Government Area of the State.
He described the killing, which occured on April 11 as unfortunate and noted that the police would not allow any stone unturned in fishing out the perpetrators of the heinous crime.
“Yes, the suspected killers killed two persons in the area. The incident happened on the same day. The police is investigating the matter.
“The police has invited one of the victim’s girl friend for questioning and we are yet to make arrest,” he added.
