The Leadership of All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has passed a vote of confidence on the state Financial Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Usman Aya and its executive members in all the electoral wards, Local Government , Zonal and State Levels.
This, the leadership said, was due to their commitments in ensuring the victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and all other APC candidates in February and March elections.
This is contained in a statement signed by its Chairman, Hon Mathew Duniya and made available to newsmen in Nassarawa Eggon today, Thursday.
Duniya also urged APC supporters and loyalists to discard or disregard any rumour of any purported suspension of some executive members of the party in some electoral wards as null and void in its entirety.
” We want to make use of this opportunity to pass a vote of confidence to all our executive members in all the electoral wards, Local Government, Zonal and State Levels.
” Particularly, the state Financial Secretary, of our great party , Alh. Mohammed Usman Aya, who works day and night to ensure the victory of APC at all levels,” he said.
According to him, You will recall that on the 16th January, 2023, a press release was made by me in respect to the purported rumours making rounds in social media and other media stations, on a purported suspension of some APC party executives by some self acclaimed party stakeholders in the Local Government.
” I wish to once more categorically draw the attention of our esteem APC supporters and loyalists to discard or disregard any rumour of any purported suspension of some executive members of the party in some electoral wards as null and void in its entirety.
” I wish to refer to to Article 21 of APC Constitution 2022 ( as amended) which stipulated all the procedures ad offences of discipline of erring members,” he added.
The APC Chairman used the medium to appeal to all APC supporters in the Local Government Area and its entirety to remain focus and resolute towards ensuring total victory in the forth coming general elections billed for 25th February, and 11th March, 2023 respectively.
Duniya assured Gov. Abdullahi Sule that APC in Nassarawa Eggon remain unshakable, intact and ever strong.
“We want to assure His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule that APC in Nassarawa Eggon remain unshakable,intact and ever strong,” he said .
