Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, has expressed shock over the demise of ex-Minister of Labour and Productivity, Hussaini Zanwa Akwanga, who died on Dec. 17 at the age of 77.

A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker, Jibrin Gwamna, indicates that Balarabe-Abdullahi received with deep shock the news of the demise of the elder statesman.

The speaker condoled with Gov. Abdullahi Sule, citizens, family and associates of the deceased.

“Late Alhaji Hussaini Zanwa, a former Minister, has contributed a lot to the development of the country while alive.

“He prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with paradise,” he said.

Balarabe-Abdullahi, while eulogizing the former minister, enjoined all to see his demise as an act of God who gives and takes life at his own time.

The speaker prayed for the repose of the ex-minister’s soul. (NAN)
