…….. As Chief Details to the Speaker, Emmanuel took Nancy as life partner.

Married couples have been advised to adhere strictly and respect the sanctity of marriage institution as enshrined in the scripture to reduce the rate of moral decadence in the society and have a blessed home.

A Catholic priest, Rev. Father Aidan Zumyil made the call in a sermon during the wedding of Emmanuel Auta the Chief Security Details of the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, and his bride Nancy.

The call was also echoed by the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau during the wedding which took place today at the Church of Annunciation, Gishiri-Abuja.

Dr Danladi Jatau in company of the member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon. Mohammed Garba Isimbabi were at the church to shared in the joy of the Chief Details, Emmanuel Auta who took his spouse Nancy to the altar.

In a sermon before tying the nuptial knot, Rev. Fr. Aidan Zumyil noted with dismay how the Institution of marriage is being abused by couples, calling on Christians specifically Catholics to treat marriage as sacred sacrament given its divinity and importance to the development of the society.

After declaration of consents and in line with teachings of the church, the Xhief Details of the Speaker, Emmanuel Auta and his spouse, Nancy were pronounced husband and wife with a call on them to see patience, understanding, respect and love as essential ingredients of matrimony.

In their advice, Speaker Danladi Jatau and Hon. Mohammed Garba Isimbabi informed Emmanuel and Nancy that their is no perfect marriage on earth but love from the husband and respect from the wife are the nexus for couple and oil that greases the matrimony.

To the couple, Emmanuel Auta and his wife Nancy, their joy is unquantifiable and prayed for all the blessings associated with marriage to be in their new home.

Meanwhile, after the Church service, a warmed reception was organized in honour of the couple.

Speaker Danladi Jatau who was represented at the reception by member representing Karu/Gitata constituency Hon. Jonah Ali Dizaho and other well wishers including staff of the State Assembly were thrilled to a colourful reception as guests dine, wine, prayed and offer advice to the new couple.
