Mr Yakubu Lawal, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, has solicited support for Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration beyond 2023.
Lawal also said the people would enjoy more dividends of democracy.
He made call while playing host to All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from Wakama electoral ward in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.
The commissioner said the governor was doing well in almost all sectors of the economy and called on the citizens to pray for the success of state government policies and programmes.
“I want to commend you for your visit and to assure you of my readiness to carry everybody along while discharging my duties.
“I want to call on all of us and other people of the state to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023.
“Let’s continue to educate and sensitise our people and others on the need to continue to support the state government’s policies and programmes,” he urged.
Besides, the commissioner advised people of the state to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace for development to thrive.
Earlier, Mr Bawa Dasu, the Chairman, APC Stakeholders Forum of the ward, said that the visit was to congratulate the commissioner on his appointment and subsequent swearing-in as member of the state executive council. (NAN)
