Chief Barrister Ebosetale David Aigbefoh Esq, has urged Muslims and residents of Tungan-Maje community in Federal Capital Territory, FCT, to imbibe the culture of tolerance as the country celebrates the Maulud (birth) of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
AIGBEFOH, who gave his Sallah message in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday, appealed to all residents of the FCT and Nigeria at large to eschew bitterness and primordial sentiments in their dealings with one another.
He said Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s life is an example in forthrightness, diligence, hardwork and commitment to set objectives, saying imbibing those virtues will help the territory and the nation towards rapid growth and development
According to him, the occasion of the celebration of the Maulud, residents of Tungan-Maje community and other Nigerians should collectively reflect on how the Prophet’s life and ideals will help the country overcome its present challenges.
He, however, felicitated with HRH ALH DR AMB SHABAN AUDU NIZAZO 111 the Etsu Kwali on his 25th Anniversary and 66th birthday celebration.
The Barrister also reiterated his commitment towards collaborating with the security operatives in the community to ensure a hitch-free Sallah celebration in the area.
Besides he called on the Government to provide adequate infrastructures such as rural roads, potable drinking water, healthcare, youth/women empowerment, scholarships for indigents students in FCT and among others.
AIGBEFOH, also used the occasion of the celebration of the Maulud to advise youth to continue to be law abiding to constituted authorities especially at the peak of the election period.
He further urged the youth to be peaceful especially at the peak of electioneering campaigns, cautioning them against engaging in any form of thuggery.
