The Head of Administration of kuje Area Council, FCT, Mr Dan Ayuba, has retired from active service after the regulatory and mandatory retirement age of 60 years.
The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Adullahi Suleiman Sabo, at the valedictory session organised by the council, commended Ayuba for his dedication, hard work and outstanding ethics he demonstrated during service.
The chairman described the outgoing Head of Administration as a seasoned administrator, a role model, dedicated and exemplary with excellent work ethics.
Sabo said Ayuba made significant impact in various capacities during his service in the Council, adding that his dedication to work and gentleman posture are well acknowledged by Management.
“He is a pleasant personality, reserved and resourceful, He is a gentleman who is contented and has served the council creditably during his service.
“I want to appreciate all of you and from the feedback I got from my staff, gave me the fulfillment that you have impacted life very well.
“I also want to thank God for his life, as some people died during their years in service, but his case is different.
“Life they say is not the accumulation of wealth, but a man’s life is measured on how much you have been able to impact life.
“We, therefore, wish you happy retirement,” Sabo said.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Kwali Area Council, Mr Danladi Chiya, said Ayuba had served meritoriously in various capacities over the years and contributed his quota to the growth of the area council 8n FCT.
According to him, the outgoing Head of Administration had made great personal sacrifice, such as his analytical skills, deep understanding of administrative devotion and dedication to work.
While wishing him good encounter in his future endeavours, he added that all the staff of the council department will surely miss him, particularly his calm disposition to duty.
“This is a day of celebration not only for all you have accomplished but also for all the possibilities that will be unfolding after you.
“Congratulations, we pray that the Almighty God give you the wisdom and strength needed to fulfill all your personal aspirations during retirement and enjoy the new chapter of your life.
In his remarks, Mr Dan Ayuba, thanked the entire council for the opportunity given to him to serve and also appreciated his colleagues for orgainsing a befitting retirement celebration.
“I am humbled to hear all these good comments that have been said about me and I am grateful to all of you for organising this valedictory party in my honour,” he said.
The valediction was attended by both senior management staff and junior as well as well wishers as they took turns to rain encomiums and wished him well in his retirement.
NAN reports that Kuje chairman donated a car to the retiring Head of Administration and the sum of N10 million from the six Area Council Chairmen was donated for his dedication to work and development of the area council. (NAN)
