The Eden Moringa Productions and Marketers Group, has solicited for investment support from government and well meaning Nigerians, for the purchase and installation of automated machines for moringa value chain.
The group said the support would enable the country to meet up with the demand of quality and highly effective moringa products at both local and International market.
Dr Ashimashiga Akoloagal, Chairman Eden Group, made the appeal at a news conference on Friday in Nyanya.
Akoloagal identified moringa as the country’s foreign exchange hope, adding that application of moringa fertiliser, being organic, would enable farmers reclaimed vast land that has been destroyed by synthetic fertiliser and boost production.
He further said that, it would enhance quality food production, improved health of consumers and enable international countries with challenge of agricultural land access, to patronise our naturally produced food.
Akoloagal said the conference was to seek support for investment in the group’s 16 years research and development, conducted on the challenges and successes of Eden moringa production and marketing.
“We have completed 16 years of research, productions and marketing technics and challenges, in the areas of E-Moringa health products, organic fertiliser production for food sufficiency, poultry feed production, fish feed production and animal FEEDLOTS establishment.
“We realised that Nigeria can be made great and better through deliberate and determined establishment of industries that has direct impact on over 200 million of the populace.
“The food we eat now are toxic food due to the use of chemicals and synthetic fertilisers and is affecting our entire health.
” We have now developed this fertilliser using moringa and other organic matter like animal dungs,”he said.
He added that with moringa fertiliser, the country’s products could be exported without questioning because, you are using organic fertilliser to boost food production.
“Through moringa, our industries will be revived, bakery, pharmaceutical industries, food processing industries among others, will now be relling on
80 per cent premise or ingredients needed for production generated locally.
“This will now in turn, reduce the cost of dollars for the purchase of other products to be imported to Nigeria for production,”he said.
