Gombe South people resident in Abuja, have appealed to the newly inaugurated Senator and members of the House of Representatives from the district, to deliver on their campaign promises.
They made the appeal at the Inauguation Reception, held in honour of the Senator and House of Representatives members from Gombe South Senatorial District, in Abuja.
Mr Meriji Adamu, Chairman, Planning Committee of the occasion, urged them to take up their responsibilities and justify the trust bestowed on them by the people.
“As we celebrate our people who we elected to represent us at the National Assembly, we know that they are highly capacitated and we want to urge them to represent us well.
“We also want them to generate understanding with the Federal Government to bring more development to the people of Gombe South,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the members of the 10th National Assembly from Gombe South Senatorial District include; Sen. Anthony Yaro (Gombe South Senatorial District), Hon. Obed Paul (Kaltungo/Shongam Federal Constituency) and Hon. Ali Isa (Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency).(NAN)
