The Government of Katsina State in North West Nigeria has announced a one-week holiday for primary school pupils and secondary school students from Monday, June 26, 2023.

This is contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Ya’u Jibrin, acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Katsina State on Sunday.

According to Jibrin, the break was to ensure that the pupils, students and good people of the state enjoy the Eid-el Kabir Muslim festival with their families.

Jibrin further explained that students in boarding schools would resume on Sunday, July 2, 2023, while day students would resume from the break on Monday, July 3, 2023.
