Eggon Community in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, have assured Sen. Solomon Ewuga, the former Minister of State ( FCT) of their continued determination to embrace unity and peace for the overall development of Eggon nation and the society at large.

Chief Adoji Aku Aliku, the Wakilin (representative) of Eggon community in the area, gave the assurance when they paid a New Year visit to Sen. Ewuga in his residence in Alushi, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

Adoji, who underscored the importance of peace, urged Eggon nation to continue to live in peace, unity and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.

The Wakilin Eggon said that the visit was to rejoice with Ewuga on New Year celebration and for his safe return from the hands of kidnappers.

” We are also here to pray for sound and good health and long life to His Excellency, Sen. Solomon Aku Ewuga.

” We thanked God  for his safe released from the hands of Kidnappers.

” Sir, we will continue to pray for you and wish you well in all your future endeavours.

” On my part as Wakilin Eggon Karu, I will continue to unite our people and we are going to continue to  live in peace with other ethnic nationalities in our interest and for the overall development of the country,” he said.

Aliku has also assured of his continued determination and commitment to key into good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of Eggon people and other Nigerians.

He urged Eggon nation and other Nigerians to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, be their brother’s keepers and  tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations. 

Responding, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, the former Minister of State ( FCT) appreciated the Wakilin Eggon and his entourage for the visit.

He called on Eggon people and other Nigerians to continue to see each other as brothers and sisters in the interest of peace and for the overall development of the country.

The former Minister has assured of his continued commitment to the development of Eggon nation and Nigeria at large.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that those in attendance included Malam Isiaka Mudi, Galadima Eggon Karu, Mr Josiah Danlad Akpa, Mr Jacob Adigizi Usman and Barr. Affiku Kuje, Eggon stakeholders. ( NAN)
