Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has condoled with Aren Eggon HRH Rtd Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku, Eggon Nation and families of those who lost their lives on procession from Aren Eggon Palace to Ame Wo Ba Eggon (AWBE) Carnival Venue in Nassarawa Eggon on Dec. 28th, 2025.

This is contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna and made available to Newsmen in Lafia today.

Dr. Jatau described their passing away as shocking, colossal and painful.

“God gives life and takes at will, this is a very devastating moments for us but we take solace in God Almighty”

He said that their deaths was very shocking and painful considering their contributions to the revival of Eggon culture as well as their contributions to the development of the society.

The Speaker urged the bereaved families and Eggon Nation to take solace in God.

” I also want to urge the bereaved families and Eggon Nation, the Aren Eggon, to bear the irreparable lost.

The Speaker prayed God to forgive their shortcomings and grant them eternal rest as well as console their families, friends, associates and the Eggon nation.
