The women leader of the All Progressive Congress(APC), in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hailmary Aipoh has joined other well meaning Nigerians to call on women and the youth to shun all vices as the elections draw near.
Aipoh who stressed the need for women and the youth to be at the forefront of promoting peace, noted that women play important role in nation building as they are bedrocks of the society, she pointed out that they groom the children in the society and as such can help shape minds of the youth.
“Women play important role in nation building, we are the bedrocks of the society, we are also good managers that is how God created us. As good teachers and mentors to our children we enforce discipline and teach the children moral values and as such at a time like this we are reminded once again to draw them near and continue in that light to ensure a stable and peaceful society” she said.
The women leader further urged youths to humble themselves and dedicate themselves to hardwork and remaining content with what they have, according to her, it is the only way the youth can take their destinies in their hands.
Aipoh, noted that upbringing can be seen to reflect on the larger society and as such only good moral values can build a strong foundation and impact on the society.
