Mr Christopher Maikalangu, Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) has inaugurated a 15-member committee to take stock of his performance in the one year in office.
The Maikalangu-led council will be one year in office on June 14.
Maikalangu, while inaugurating the committee in his office in Abuja, said the terms of reference are to identify projects for official commissioning.
He also urged the committee to report back to him in a week.
The committee is to be chaired by the Supervisory Councillor for Special Duties while the Head of Personnel Management is the Secretary.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Maikalangu had while campaigning, promised to develop rural communities in the council.
Maikalangu also assured residents that the first quarter of 2023 would be celebrated in project delivery and implementation and that the new cashless revenue transaction policy is fully on course and is expected to pay off by the first quarter of 2023.
