The Nasarawa State Gubernatorial Candidate under the Accord party in the 2023 general election, Inusa Muhammad Anga has officially joined the Ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) alongside former Senator Solomon Ewuga in Nasarawa State.

He said that he joined the APC due to the developmental strides of Gov Abdullahi Sule in the state.

Speaking with newsmen in Lafia shortly after announcing their defection to APC by the state party chairman, Alhaji Aliyu Bello in Lafia, Mohammed Anga vows to bring his wealth of experience to ensure the progress of the party beyond 2027.

Anga said he was satisfied with the developmental achievement of the present administration of Gov Sule, particularly in the areas of roads networking, employment opportunities, security of lives and property and promoting peace and unity among diverse ethnic groups in the state.

The former candidate of the Accord party expressed optimism that the coming of Senator Solomon Ewuga, and former APC House of representative candidate Safiyanu Maizuma would add more strength to the party.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje assured them of the party’s readiness to carry everyone along towards ensuring the overall development of the country.

The event was attended by Secretary to the government of the federation, Sen. George Akume, Speaker Nassarawa State House of Assemble, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, former Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, amongst other top government functionaries.
