Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, has urged newly wedded couples not to allow third party interference for their marriage to succeed.
He also urged them to embrace peace, love, unity, openness and effective communication.
The Speaker made the call during the wedding ceremony between Emmanuel Peter Akwe and Blessing Joseph Ishaleku at Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) 2 , Obi, Obi Local Government Area of the state today.
Emmanuel is the younger brother to Hon Dr Ibrahim Peter Akwe, member representing Obi 1 constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly
The Speaker prayed God to bless their marriage abundantly.
” On behalf of myself, family, Principal Officers, members and staff of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, I wish to congratulate Mr/Mrs Emmanuel Peter Akwe on their successful marriage.
” I want to call on the wedded couple to show love and embrace unity, peace, patience and effective communication for their marriage to be successful.
” As love, peace, understanding and patience among other good attributes of marriage are very necessary requirements for a successful marriage life,” he said
Jatau also urged the couple to receive only positive advice that would build their family.
Besides, the Speaker urged the people of the state to continue to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
The Speaker also assured of his leadership commitment to operate an open door policy and pass bills and resolutions that will better the lots of the people of the State.
He enjoined the people of the state to continue to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.

The man of God also urged the couple to be faithful to each other and embrace peace for the progress and growth of their family.
” Don’t be unfaithful to each other but be faithful to yourselves, embrace unity, peace and tolerance for your marriage to be successful,” he said
The cleric while congratulating the couple, prayed God to protect them against evils.
The man of God urged the couple to only take positive counsels from people.
He prayed God to guide the Speaker of the state legislature, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, other state assembly members and other leaders for a properous Nasarawa State.
It would be reported that the wedding which witnessed the presence of Hon. Members of the House in solidarity for Dr Peter Akwe had its reception held at Pilot Primary School Obi and it was well attended where the Speaker Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau spoke extensively on basis for a successful marriage warning against involvement of third party.
