National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), has given approval to Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nassarawa State, to commence four Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes with effect from the 2023/2024 academic session.
This is contained in an approval signed by NBTE Director, Polytechnic Programmes, Arc Ngbede Ogoh to the school and a copy was made available to newsmen by the founder of the institution, Mr David Abuluya.
The approval with reference number TEB/PRO/PP.34/VOL.11/88 dated Aug.10,2023.
It said the approval was the outcome of the resource inspection exercise carried out by the board to the institution from 10th to 13th July, 2023.
The approval letter read this ” Grant of Approval to commence programmes with reference to the Resources Inspection exercise carried out by the board.
” At your institution from 10th to 13th July, 2023 that the board has granted approval to your institution to offer the following programmes with effect from 2023/ 2024 academic session.
” HND Computer Science, HND Statistics, HND Accountancy and HND Business Administration and Management,” the letter said.
Speaking with newsmen, the Founder of the institution, Mr David Abuluya appreciated NBTE for the approval.
” Sincerely I am happy that NBTE has granted us approval to commence HND programmes in four programmes.
” I want to assure them and the public that the institution will continue to maintain standard in the interest of the education of our children and the society at large,” he said.
Abuluya, who is the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide assured staff and students of continued conducive environment for teaching and learning. ( NAN)
