Alhaji Mohammed Omadefu, re-elected member representing Keana constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has advised couples not to allow third party interference in their marriage to build a peaceful and united home.
Omadefu gave the advice on Saturday during the wedding Fatiha of his Confidential Secretary, Mr Dahiru Elayo, and Razinatu Ozotu, at Galadima’s Compound, in Keana.
The lawmaker, who stood in for the groom’s family, urged the couple to embrace love, peace, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, respect, obedience and understanding for their marriage to last.
“First and foremost, we thank God for the successful wedding Fatiha of Hadji Dahiru Elayo and Razinatu Ozotu Yusuf.
“I want to advise the couple and every other newly wedded to embrace love, peace and tolerance, among other good attributes, for their marriage to last,” he said.
He also urged them not to allow third party cause problem to their marriage.
“I want to advise them again that they should not allow third party cause problem to their marriage,” he added.
The lawmaker congratulated the couple and wished them fruitful and blessed marriage life.
Besides, Omadefu called on the people of the constituency and the state at large to continue to give their maximum support to Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.
“This is to enable Keanas continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy and for the overall development of Keana,” he said.
Also speaking, Mr Solomon Akwashiki, member-elect, Lafia Central constituency at the state legislature, also advised the couple to be patient with each other.
He wished them a blissful matrimony.
On his part, Mr Mohammed Galadima, a stakeholder in Keana, who stood in for the bride’s family, wished the couple a peaceful and blessed marriage life.
Earlier, Malam Hassan Okinawe, the Imam of Masjidu Annooru (Osana’s Palace Mosque), Keana, confirmed the payment of N100,000 as dowry and presentation of medical certificates from the couple.
He advised the couple to show love and understanding for their marriage to last. (NAN)
