Bingham University has secured full accreditation for all 18 programmes presented to the National Universities Commission (NUC) for accreditation in November and early December 2022.
The Director of Public Affairs Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Bingham University, Mr Daburi Misal disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said that the accreditation was received in a letter signed by the Deputy Director, Mr S. S. Ikani in charge of programme accreditation, on behalf of the NUC Executive Chairman (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor.
According to him, the following programmes are listed: B.Sc. Architecture, Bachelors of Law, LLB, B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry and B.Sc. Microbiology.
Other programmes accredited are B.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. Mass Communication, B.Sc. Sociology, M.Sc. Accounting, M.Sc. Business Administration and M.Sc. Human Resource Management.
Also in the list of accredited programmes are B.Sc. Business Administration, B.Sc. Entrepreneurship, B.A. English, B.Sc. Anatomy, B.Sc. Physiology, Bachelor of Nursing Science, and B.Sc. Public Health.
Misal therefore, said that the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Williams Qurix, who was visibly elated, congratulated the university community for the feat while charging them to continue to put in their best. (NAN)
