The United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) of Africa General Assembly has congratulated Dr Jonathan Ojadah, a Nigeian, over his emergence as head of International Peace and Governance Council (IPGC), USA.
Ojadah is youngest Diplomat and the first African to head the Supreme Council of IPGC, USA, while also commending his emergence as the President, Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance (CIPG), Texas, USA.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Lorna Williams, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council, in Abuja on Friday.
He enjoined the new appointee to use the opportunity to continue his good works in Nigeria, Africa and the World at Large.
He said Ojadah had shown tremendous commitment towards the upliftment of the organisation which had earned him the nomination by 2/3 members of the Supreme Council.
This, he said, was in fulfilment of the organisation’s requirement in the Constitution.
He said since the organisation’s existence, there had been slow progress in terms of project implementation until Ojadah came on board in 2021 as Head Of Mission for Africa.
According to him, the organisation recorded many achievements including partnerships with various Governments in Africa where he operated as Head Of Mission and Director General, UNIPGC Africa.
“It is impressive that Ojadah, a Nigerian Citizen, Peace Diplomat, is the first African and youngest Diplomat to head the Supreme Council since the organisation’s existence in 2002.”
IPGC is a registered civil society organisation in USA with Continental chapters and representations in Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa.
The organisation is in partnership with various United Nations Associations, Ghana, Nigeria including the African Union (AU ECOSSOC).
IPGC Africa is registered in Kigali Rwanda as UNIPGC AFRICA as its Continental Headquarter for its Peace and Governance advocacy mission in Africa. (NAN)
