The Secretary of the Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI), Dr. Theophilus Ndubuaku has congratulated Dr. Tonye Jaja on the Research Grant he was recently awarded.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that ASURI commended the latest achievement of Dr Jaja who is one of the 25 academics selected for the Research Grant under the Federal Government of Nigeria and Czech Republic Transfer Agreement.
Dr. Theophilus, who is also representing the interests of Research Fellow in Federal Research and Development Institutions (RDIs), Inter-University Centers, Colleges and Allied Agencies said the wards is step in the right direction.
According to him, Tonye Jaja who is a Senior Research Fellow with National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) Abuja has been applauded by ASURI for his evidence of his virtues of hard work, intellectual capacity and resourcefulness.
‘”s a researcher for over 40 years , I can beat my chest that these virtues cannot be faked as confirmed by the panel of assessors who interviewed you before your being shortlisted and I have no iota of doubt that more laurels awaits you,” he said.
NAN also reports that Dr Jaja was also awarded Research Grant for commercialization of Two Legal Research and Writing Software (Legistcripta & Jurscripta)
Also Establishment of Nigerian-Czech Legislative Informatics Academy in the Dela-2 programme Czech Nigeria bilateral Co-Funding R & D projects for the year 2023. (NAN)
