A third term member representing Kokona East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has formally accepted calls and declared his intention to contest for the seat of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.

Hon Ogazi, the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business made the declaration at the Palace of Emir in Keffi Local Government Area of the state.

Ogazi said that his aspiration was driven by calls and a genuine desire to serve the people of the Karu/Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency.

According to him, Yes, I have not wanted to contest for any election any more and I have not wanted to participate in politics any more but because of the calls and love of the people of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency, I have decided that I will appear before them today to answer your calls.

“And because they insisted that I should represent them in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly come 2027,” he said.

The lawmaker said that he has provided the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of his Constituency and would bring speedy development to Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency , if voted in 2027.

” I Hon Daniel Ogah Ogazi today formally accepted your calls and declared my intention to contest for the seat of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency in 2027.

” My intention is to provide quality representation, My intention also is to make good laws for peace and good governance.

” My intention is to provide good laws that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency,” he said.

Hon Ogazi also assured of women and youths empowerment, if voted into the House of Representatives.

” I will bring speedy development to our constituency by initiating people’s oriented projects, employment and empowerment such as cars, motorcycles, grinding machines among others.

” This is to change on your standard of living positively and for the overall development of our constituency,” he said .

Hon Ogazi expressed optimism that he would win the party primaries election slated for May 15, 2026.

” By God’s grace and if the election is free and fair, I will win the primaries election slated for 15th May, 2026.

” I want to call on registered members of our party to come out enmass to vote for me on May 15th, 2026 to enable me win the party primaries election,” he added

The Lawmaker promised to remain accessible and responsive to the needs of the people of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal Constituency, if given the opportunity come 2027.

Besides, Hon Ogazi pledged to donate motorcycles in the next two days to the people of Kokona LGA and one machine to Leader of people living with disabilities in Keffi LGA.

Also speaking, Alhaji Ibrahim Badamasi, former member representing Keffi East Constituency, Alhaji Kawu Ahmed, Chairman, Ogazi 2027 Declaration Planning Committee, Hon Auwalu Adamu, former Chairman of Kokona LGA, Hajiya Jamila Sarki, former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Hauwa Sabo, Women Leader, Karu LGA, Mr Umaru Shehu Dikko, Mr Mohammed Tukur, Hon Safiya Mohamed Agwai, APC Chieftains among others commended Hon Ogazi for his quality representation at the state legislature.

They said that Hon Ogazi has done well as a member of Kokona East constituency and called on the people of the Federal Constituency to support him in 2027 to succeed.

They also said that Hon Ogazi would bring speedy development to the constieuency, if elected in 2027.

On his Part, Hon Musa Saidu Gude, member representing Uke/ Karshi Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly prayed and wished Hon Ogazi well, adding that leadership comes from God.

He urged the people to support APC to succeed in the 2027 general elections in order to enjoy more more dividends of democracy.

It would be reported that Hon Ogazi, Dan-Gatan Fadan Keffi and his entourage earlier paid a traditional homage on the Emir of Keffi, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa where the Royal Father prayed, blessed and wished him well.
