Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa North Senatorial District have passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Abdullahi Sule over his developmental strides in the state.

They pledged to deliver victory for Sule in the party’s senatorial primary scheduled for May 18.

Sen. Philip Gyunka, Chairman of the Campaign Council for Sule’s 2027 Nasarawa North Senatorial bid, stated this during the council’s campaign tour to Akwanga Local Government Area.

It would be reported that the APC has fixed May 18 for its senatorial primaries.

Gyunka said stakeholders had resolved to mobilise support for Sule to secure victory in the primary election.

He noted that Sule had performed well for the zone and the entire state as governor.

“If elected Senator in 2027, His Excellency will bring more development to the zone,” he said.

Gyunka urged residents of the zone to support Sule’s senatorial ambition.

The Campaign Council Director-General, Mr Bala John, thanked Gov. Sule for providing good governance in the state.

He said Sule would be critical to the progress of the northern district at the national level, if given the mandate, and urged registered party members to vote for him in the May 18 primaries.

Also speaking were ALGON and Akwanga LGA Chairman, Alhaji Safiyanu Andaha, Campaign Advisory Council Chairman, Chief Timothy Anjide, Director of Youth Mobilisation and SUBEB Chairman, Dr Kassim Muhammad, and former Majority Leader at the State Assembly, Mr. Peter Mbucho.

Others were Director of Women Mobilisation and Special Adviser to the Governor in the SSG’s Office Dr Justina Kotso; and Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Kwanta Yakubu.

They spoke extensively on Sule’s achievements in the zone and the state, saying that the turnout of stakeholders and party members affirmed the electorate’s readiness to deliver their mandate to him.

They added that Akwanga LGA had benefited immensely from Sule’s administration and pledged unflinching support to ensure he emerged as the party’s senatorial flag bearer.

They called for unity, discipline, and commitment to ensure the party’s success in the 2027 general elections.
