The only female Lawmaker in Nasarawa State House of Assembly and member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim Ph.D has presented clothing materials to journalists serving with the State Assembly.

This, she said, was to improve on their standard of living and to enable them celebrate Sallah with joy.

Dr. Danyaro, Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs presented the clothing materials to them today at her residence in Lafia, the State Capital.

She said that the gesture was also to put smile on their faces and to enable them celebrate the sallah joyfully.

She said that Ramadan is a period of love and alms giving, hence the need of her gesture considering the significant role the Assembly press are playing in propagation of the House activities especially that of the legislators.

“This gesture is to enable you celebrate forthcoming sallah with joy.

“And this is to improve on your standard of living positively” she said.

“I want to sincerely thank you for all you have been doing for me and the entire house, you people are doing great job, may God bless you all” She added.

She re-affirmed her commitment to partner journalists, saying that the media remains the back borne of the society.

The lawmaker appreciated the journalist serving in State Assembly for being up and doing as well as being dedicated to their duties and assured of her support at all times.

The Assembly press team appreciated her for the gesture and being media friendly thus assuring her of more support to enable her succeed.
