The Proprietor of Nacabs Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Mr David Abuluya, says that the institution wa committed in  maintaining academic quality and standard for the overall development of the education sector.

Abuluya gave the assurance on Thursday in Akwanga while briefing newsmen on the sideline on the ongoing 2022/ 2023 admission screening exercise in the school.

Abuluya, who is the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide said that the school was established in order to complement government efforts in the education sector.

” This is part of my contribution to the development of the education sector and the society at large.

” As we all aware of the importance of education to human and societal development,” he said.

According to him, the screening exercise  is for all candidates who applied for admission into Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, for 2022/2023 Academic Session.

” And who made the Polytechnic their institution of first or second choice and scored 120 and above in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

” Candidates who did not choose Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, but wish to effect a change, are encouraged to make the Polytechnic their first choice by contacting the relevant Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Accredited Centre for Change of Institution.

” Or contact the institution through the school JAMB Coordinator, ” he added.

The founder, who is also the Chairman, Nasarawa State Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC)  said that the institution was well known for its academic excellence and pledged not to compromise its standard.

” We have qualified lecturers and staff and we  have the necessary facilities in the institution.

” We have modern laboratories and workshops for practicals. Quality will never be compromised,” he assured.

He has restated his continued commitment to initiate good policies and programmes that would boost teaching and learning as well the welfare of staff and students. ( NAN)
