……. Holds strategic political meeting with Karshi APC Political Development Forum.
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has hinted that he will contest for the seat of House of Representatives for Keffi, Karu, and Kokona federal constituency when the time comes.
He made the announcement during a strategic political meeting with Karshi APC Political Development Forum at the residence of former State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Jafaru Ango, in Uke, Karu LGA today Thursday.
Dr. Jatau cited his grassroots political experience, starting as a Councilor, to LG Speaker, LG Chairman, to State legislation among others and his understanding of community needs as driving factors for his decision to contest.
He also revealed that various calls from his immediate constituency, youths, elders and political groups as well as individuals across the three LGAs of Keffi, Karu and Kokona on him to contest was also a testimony that he cannot ignore at this time.
He emphasized unity, rejecting religious and tribal politics, and urged followers to pursue peace for community development.
The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen who spoke extensively on range of issues of governance, representation and development among others assured of continuous quality representation now and beyond 2027.
It was reported that the forum, comprising stakeholders from Karshi 1 and 2, among others praised Dr. Jatau’s development efforts and pledged their total support for his future ambition.
Earlier, Hon. Jafaru Ango, former Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development in the State and other stakeholders praised Dr. Danladi Jatau’s development efforts and urged him to keep up the good work.
They assured him of full support to succeed and readiness to mobilize for him massively when the time comes.
The Karshi political group pledged to support Dr. Jatau’s House of Representatives bid, citing past and present commitments of Dr Jatau as well as his purposeful representation as a lawmaker as some reasons behind their support for his aspiration.
