Kozaki Transformation and Development Foundation (KTDF), Gboko, has organized a five- day training of Trainers workshop on Male Feminism across the North Central States.

Rev. Fr. Bar. Isaiah Ter, Executive Director of the foundation made this known at the end of the five days training Workshop in Gboko, Benue State.

It would be reported that the workshop was funded by the Ford Foundation in partnership with the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD).

The Executive Director said that the network was aimed at expanding male allyship by transforming men from silent bystanders into active partners in dismantling patriarchal systems that sustain gender inequality.

He said that “women’s empowerment is not a threat to men, but a catalyst for a more just and humane society.

The KTDF urged the participants to use the knowledge gain in order to promote and protect female rights and for the overall development of the society.

Mr Ukon David spoke on ” Understanding Gender and Male Feminism where he explained key concepts of equity and equality.

Mr.Akirghir Caleb, Communication Officer of the Foundation delivered a paper on ” The Philosophy and Politics of Feminism, tracing the waves of feminist thought and their relevance to Nigerian society.

Mr Akpen Manfred, the Programme Manager of the Foundation, handled ” Gender-Based Violence and Male Allyship, confronting myths and laws while providing practical strategies for intervention.

Mr. Simon Agbende, who trained participants on The Science and Art of Training, equipping them with Facilitation Skills, Adult Learning Principles, and Strategies for Grassroots Advocacy.

It would be reported that participants who spoke during the training pledged to be good ambassadors of Male Feminists Network for societal development
