Alhaji Abdullahi Tashas, the Chairman, Toto Local Government Council, Nasarawa State says, the council’s infrastructural development and security of the people of the area remains his topmost priority.

Tashas stated this during the foundation-laying ceremony for the construction of a five-office structure for supervisory councillors of the area on Tuesday in Toto.

The chairman said the project was initiated by his administration in consideration of the need to provide conducive working environment for effective service delivery by the supervisory councillors.

“Good accommodation is critical for optimal productivity and effective service delivery by the supervisory councillors.

“That is why my administration would continue to give topmost priority to the provision of infrastructure and security for my people,” he said.

According to him, supervisory councillors are key players in the development drive of the area, hence, the desire and commitment of his administration to build a befitting office in that regard.

The chairman re-assured of his administration’s commitment to better the lot of his people, improve on the general security of the area and enhance its infrastructural development.

He enjoined the people to continue to sustain the existing peace in the area for more democratic dividends.

“Let’s all be law abiding and co-exist peacefully irrespective of our affiliations, as no society will achieve meaningful progress and development without peace,” Tashas said.

The chairman also called for continued support to ensure the success of Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration beyond 2023. (NAN)
