HRH, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku ( Rtd) , the Aren Eggon in Nasarawa state, has urged Nigerians to ensure that they preserve their cultural heritage and values to promote unity and peace in the country.

The Aren Eggon made the call in Nassarawa Eggon today at the Occasion of the Breakfast and Strategy Meeting with Stakeholders of Eggon Nation For International Museum Day Celebration( IMDC 2025.

Aren Eggon said that the International Museum Day 2025, an event which is primarily to showcase the richness of Eggon culture, history and traditions.

Ubangari- Alaku also urged all Eggon sons and daughters to contribute handsomely, sponsor events and donate generously for the success of the International Museum Day in Jos, Plateau slated for May 20th, 2025.

According to him, let’s us work together to preserve our traditions, values , history and our identity.

Aren Eggon said, ” We need your support to make this event for grand and successful.

” Your contribution will greatly assist in our efforts to Preserve cultural artifacts and traditions , showcase heritage to the world and empower future generations to appreciate Eggon identity, among others

” Every donations counts and your generosity will bring us closer to celebrating our culture with grandeur.

” Let us promote and preserve Eggon heritage, preserving the legacy of our forefathers and respecting our elders , who had paved the way.

The first class traditional ruler also called on the organizers and Local Organizing Committee ( LOC) to embrace unity and team work in order to achieve results.

“Let’s us demonstrate unity and team work to achieve great results. Let’s project Eggon culture with pride, showcasing its beauty and significance.

Aren Eggon appreciated dignitaries for attending the event and prayed God to bless them abundantly.

On his part, Mr David Abuluya, the ECDA President restated the commitment of ECDA leadership under his watch to promote Eggon culture at all times.

” We are ready to show case Eggon culture at the International Museum Day Celebration slated for May 20th,2025 in Jos, Plateau State.

” By God’s grace, we will do everything humanly possible to make our people proud by showcasing our cultural heritage,” he said .

He said promotion of Eggon culture would also promote unity and peace among Eggon people and their neighbours.

Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga solicited for the support of all sons and daughters of Eggon nation for the success of the event.

Abuluya, the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State appreciated Aren Eggon, Chairman, Nassarawa Eggon LGA, Barr. Iliya Ibn Aliyu and other stakeholders for their contributions to the success of the event.

On his part, Barr Iliya Ibn Aliyu, the Executive Chairman, Nassarawa Eggon LGA also urged Eggon nation to continue to embrace its culture heritage.

He called for more awareness via effective publicity for the success of the programme.

The Chairman assured of his continued contributions to the development of Eggon nation and the society at large.
