The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi has tied knot with third wife, Rukaiyat Mohammed.

Presiding over the marriage rite in Umaisha, Sheikh Abubakar Giro, a renowned Islamic schoolar, tied the nuptial knot to pronounced Balarabe-Abdullahi and Mohammed as husband and wife after the payment of N100, 000 as dowry.

Giro urged the couple to be patient and show understanding to each other for the success of their marriage.

He also urged the couple to trust in God and tolerate each other at all times.

” Today you have been tied knot as husband and wife before Allah and the people.

”I call on you to be patient and tolerate one another for the progress of your family.

”You should also be opened and show understanding with each other and always remember God in your activities,” he said.

Giro further urged them to be transparent with each other for the progress and development of their family.

He urged the husband to see his wife as a precious gift from God, to hold her in high esteem.

The sheikh equally advised the wife to respect her husband in everything no matter the ordeal.

Responding, the groom  appreciated those that  supported their marriage in one way or the other and prayed  God to reward them abundantly.

”I am overwhelmed today for the success of my marriage and I want to  appreciate all those that supported and graced  my wedding fatiha and I wish them safe journey to their various destinations,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that Gov. Abdullahi Sule stands for the  groom while Alhaji Usman  Abdullahi, the  Ohimege Opanda, who is a first class traditional ruler stands for the  bride’s parent during the wedding.

 The NAN also reports that those that attended the wedding ceremony included Sen.Tanko Al-Makura, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, Mr Silas Agara, and Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission in-charge of Nasarawa State, Mr John Mamman

Otherrs are, APC Chairman, Nasarawa State, Mr Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation, state lawmakers, politicians, traditional and religious leaders among others well wishers.
