President Muhammadu Buhari has asked all members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) who have shown interest to contest elective positions in 2023 to Resign by May 16.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed made the announcement while briefing State House correspondents on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday.
According to him, ministers have been given up till May 16, 2023 to quit the cabinet.
Ministers among who have shown interest in elective positions are Rotimi Amaechi (Transportation), Chris Ngige (Labour), Abubakar Malami (Justice), Godswill Akpabio (Niger Delta).
