The Mada APC community in Kokona West constituency of Kokona LG has endorsed Dr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, for the position of House of Representatives seat.
This, they said that Speaker Jatau will be the best man for the job to represent Keffi, Karu and Kokona federal constituency come 2027.
The people in their numbers converged at the Speaker’s residence in Garaku, Kokona LG to show their solidarity and endorsed the Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau.
The endorsement team was led by Hon. Elisha Dogo, Administrator of Agwada Area Administrative Council and drew critical stakeholders, including youths and women across the Speaker’s constituency.
They praised the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau for his transformative initiatives, inclusive leadership and purposeful governance.
Addressing the gathering who converged at his residence in Garaku, Kokona LG today, Dr. Danladi Jatau emphasized the importance of unity and peace in driving growth and development in the community hence the call on his people to sustain peace at all times.
He pledged to continue to provide impactful leadership, not only to Kokona West but also to the entire Nasarawa West Senatorial district and the State at large.
Dr. Danladi Jatau, emphasized the need for unity among different ethnic groups in Kokona Local Government Area to drive development.
In their speeches, Hon. Elisha Dogo and Renkini Michael, conveners of the endorsement meeting, stated that their actions followed consultations with Mada stakeholders.
They described Dr. Jatau as a “life transformer” due to his inclusive governance and employment opportunities among others for Mada youth and other people pledging their total support for his political ambition.
On their parts, Aminu Malo and Rose Salihu, who spoke on behalf of women and elders led endorsement, expressed confidence in Dr. Jatau’s leadership and hope to succeed in his ambition.
Similarly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, was also honored by women from Garaku, who came to express their appreciation for his gesture of goodwill, for donating a car to Musa, a childhood friend, saying he values past relationships and believes in assisting those he grew up with which reflects his commitment to community service and appreciation for shared history.
