“… as women, other constituents endorse him for third term come 2027…”

Member representing Obi 2 constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Luka Iliya Zhekaba, has distributed wrappers worth N10 million to 500 women of his Constiuency.

This, he said was to enable them celebrate Christmas with Joy and to improve on their standard of living during and after the Christmas.

Hon. Zhekaba PDP, made the distribution today in Duduguru, Obi Local Government Area of the State.

The lawmaker said that the gesture was part of his continued commitment to put smiles on the faces of the women during and after Christmas.

According to him, I distributed this wrappers to 500 women worth N10 million to enable them celebrate Christmas with joy and to improve on their standard of living.

” You are all aware that I have been doing this during Christmas. I have distributed scholarship to students, distributed wrappers, given employments, empowerments, admissions among other projects.

” By God’s grace, I want to re-assure you that. I will continue to do my best for you, I will continue to empower my people for them to be self reliant.

” What I am doing is to change on the standard of living of the people of my constiuency positively during and after the Christmas” he said.

Hon. Zhekaba assured of continued sound and quality representation at the state legislature.

” I will continue to protect your interest and the interest of the people of the state at the state legislature” he added.

Hon. Zhekaba urged those, who are yet to benefit from his gesture to be patient while assuring them of better days ahead.

” If you did not benefit today, by God’s grace, you will benefit tomorrow, so I urge those, who did not benefit today to be patient as your turn is coming, by God’s grace” he said.

Hon. Zhekaba solicited for the support of all and sundry to enable him succeed beyond 2027.

He called on the women and other people of the constiuency to continue to pray for God’s intervention in order to overcome the numerous challenges facing the nation.

On her part, Wife of Hon. Zhekaba, Mrs Salomi Luka Zhekaba declared the distribution of the wrappers to Women open and the Nasarawa State PDP Women Leader, Mrs Hannatu John among others appreciated Hon. Zhekaba for always coming to the aid of his people.

They said that they are proud of Hon. Zhekaba over his purposeful leadership in the House.

They called on the people of the constiuency to continue to support the lawmaker to succeed beyond 2027.

They also prayed and wished the lawmaker well in his political ambition come 2027.

Responding, Mrs Esther Anthony, Mrs Veronica Isaac and Mrs Agnes Godwin, beneficiaries, who spoke on behalf of others appreciated Hon. Zhekaba for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

They assured him of their prayers and support to enable him succeed beyond 2027, adding that Hon Zhekaba is their candidate come 2027.
