Sen. Godiya Akwashiki( SDP- Nasarawa North) at the National Assembly, has distributed 1800 bags of fertilizers, 500 cartoons of knapsack sprayers and 360 cartoons of herbicides to his constituents.

This, he said, was to boost agricultural activities and food production in his senatorial district.

Akwashiki made the distribution on Tuesday in Akwanga Local Government Area of the State.

Akwashiki, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Ajegena Likita Ibrahim said that the gesture was part of his continued commitment to improve on the standard of living of the people of his senatorial district.

” Today, I am distributing three trailers (1800 bags) of fertilizers, 500 cartoons of knapsack sprayers and 360 cartoons of herbicides to the people of my constituency.

” This is to boost agricultural activities and food production in my senatorial district,” he said

Akwashiki urged the beneficiaries not to sell the inputs but to use it in their farms for good agricultural yields.

He assured of his continued good and quality representation at the National Assembly.

Akwashiki urged the people of his constituency to continue to live in unity, peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.

The Senator solicited for the prayers of all and sundry for his quick recovery.

Some of the stakeholders, who spoke during the distribution, Mr Bala Ewuga, the Chairman, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA), Wakama branch, Umbugadu James among others appreciated Akwashiki for the gesture.

They prayed God for his quick and speedy recovery.
