Member representing Uke/Karshi constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, has distributed five brand new Bajaj motorcycles to five ward Chairmen of Social Democratic Party (SDP) of his constituency as part of empowerment.

Hon. Gude, who is popularly called Jagaban Karshi also announced his defection from SDP to the ruling APC.

Hon. Musa Saidu Gudi, the Chairman, House Committee on Nasarawa Urban Development Agency (NUDA) made the distribution at the palace of Emir of Kashi in Karu LGA today Saturday.

It would be reported that the constituency is made up of five electoral wards which are Keffi Shanu/ Betti, Uke, Bagaji/Agada, Karshi one and Karshi two respectively.

Hon. Gude, the Deputy Minority Whip of the House said that the distribution was part of his continued commitment to improve on the standard of living of the people of his constituency.

He also enumerated his achievements in the area of education, health, agriculture, employment and empowerment among others.

” I am here today again to distribute motorcycles to five SDP Chairmen of my constituency as part of my efforts to improve on their standards of living.

“You know I have been doing it for the people and I will continue to do more for the overall development of our constituency.

“I have paid WAEC fees, sunk boreholes, installed transformers in various wards of my constituency, infrastructure, employment, assistance to many people among others” he said.

He urged the beneficiaries not to sale the motorcycles but use them to ease their movement and to change their lives positively.

Hon. Gude called on those yet to benefit from his gesture to be patience while assuring of continued provision of more democratic dividends to them.

Hon. Gude assured of sound and quality representation at the state legislature.

The lawmaker called on the people of his constituency to continue to live in unity, peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.

Besides, Hon. Gude has during the event submitted his resignation letter from SDP to the party Chairman of Karshi one ward, Mr. Isyaku Saidu Gude.

He said that his decision to resigned from SDP was after acceptance and due consultations from family members, political associates, friends and his supporters.

Also speaking, Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Abubakar, Speaker of Karu Local Government Legislative Council described Hon. Gudi as God gift member to the people of Uke/ Karshi constituency.

” Hon Jagaban is one of the productive members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly as he is working tirelessly in providing the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of this constituency” he said.

The Speaker called on the people of the constituency to continue to support the Lawmaker to succeed.

Also speaking, Mr Abdul Umar, Director General, Hon. Jagaban Campaign Organization in the 2023 general election, Mr Bala T. Bako, SDP Chairman, Karu LGA among others appreciated Hon. Jagaban for the good things he is doing for the people of his constituency.

They said that Hon. Gude is the best lawmaker Uke/Karshi constituency has ever produced in the history of the area.

They said that the lawmaker has given them the much needed dividends of democracy via his different projects execution.

They assured him of their loyalty and support beyond 2027 and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

Responding, Mr Musa Mohammed Barau, SDP Chairman of Uke Ward thanked Hon. Jagaban for the gesture and assured him of judicious use of the motorcycles for the purposes they were meant for.

It would be reported that the event had in attendance, Speaker, Karu Local Government Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Abubakar, Councillors of Karu Local Government Legislative Council, Mr Bala T. Bako, SDP Chairman, Karu Local Government Area among other dignitaries.
