A former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and ex-Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Solomon Ewuga is dead.
Accordijg to family sources, he died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
He was aged 70.
Ewuga, who was also a federal lawmaker, was a well-known political figure in Nasarawa State.
Until his death, he had played different roles in Nigeria’s political space.
He was the senator who represented Nasarawa North in the 7th National Assembly.
In December 2023, he moved from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the AlI Progressives Congress (APC), where he became an active member.
He served as deputy governor under Abdullahi Adamu.
The deceased is survived by his family, political associates and admirers who will remember him for his service and leadership.
