“….as Speaker, Osana of Keana, others hail Omadefu for being a worthy representative of his people…”

Member representing Keana constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, has distributed 1000 bags of fertilizers to the farmers of his constituency.

This, he said, was to ensure food security thereby improving on the standard of living of the people of his constituency.

Omadefu, the Chairman, House Committee on Environment made the distribution titled ” 3rd Edition of Empowerment” today at the palace of Osanga of Keana in Keana LGA.

Hon. Omadefu while distributing the fertilizers, urged the farmer not to sale the product but to use them for bumper harvest in the area.

According to him, in a bid to strengthen agricultural growth, I have distributed 1000 bags of fertilizers across 10 electoral wards of Keana LGA as part of my 3rd Edition of Empowerment.

He also said that the gesture was part of his commitment to complement President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule efforts in the agricultural sector in order to boost food production in the country.

The lawmaker, took his time to outlined his achievements in the area of education, health, infrastructure, employment, empowerment among others.

” As your representative, I have done my best towards improving on your standard of living.

” I have done well in the areas of employment, empowerment, agriculture, health, education, admission among others.

” By God’s grace, I will continue to touch on the lives of my people positively” he said.

Hon. Omadefu assured of effective, sound and quality representation at the state legislature.

He solicited for the support of all and sundry to enable him and government of the day succeed.

The lawmaker urged the people of his constituency to continue to co-exist peacefully.

While flagging off the distribution, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has advised the beneficiaries against selling the fertilizers but to use them in their farms in order to boost food production in the area.

Dr Jatau, represented by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara commended Hon. Omadefu for his various intervention projects in his constituency.

” Hon Quality is the best representative Keana LGA ever produced because of the good work he is doing. He is really providing his people quality representation.

” He has given the youths and other people of his constituency both State and Federal Government jobs among other various projects, programmes and policies.

” I want to call on you to continue to pray and support Hon. Quality to succeed in the House” he added.

The Speaker called on the people of the constituency to support 7th Assembly under his watch and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.

Also speakings, HRH Alh. Abdullahi Amegwa Agbo, the Osanga of Keana, represented by Osabwa Keana, Mr Boniface Alose, APC Chairman, Keana LGA Mr Abraham Ishaleku, Hon. Adamu Aboki, Executive Chairman, Keana LGA represented by his Deputy, Hon. Asabahiyu M. Sabo, all appreciated Hon. Omadefu for the gesture and for always touching on the lives of the people of Keana LGA positively and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

They urged the beneficiaries not to sale the fertilizers but use them in their farms for bumper harvest in the constituency.

Responding, Mr Saudi Usman, a beneficiary among other beneficiaries appreciated Hon. Omadefu for the gesture.

They said that the fertilizers would go a long way in boosting food production in the Constituency.

They pledged their readiness to ensure utilization of the fertilizers in order to boost food security in the area.

The beneficiaries assured Hon. Omadefu of their loyalty and support to him to succeed beyond 2027.

It would be reported that the event had in attendance members of the State Assembly Hon. John Ovey (PDP- Keffi East), Hon. Musa Saidu Gude (SDP- Uke/Karshi), Hon. Onarigu Onah Kana (SDP- Udege/Loko), traditional and religious leaders, youths, women among others.
