. Alleged How PDP, Atiku Fooled FCT Minister, Nailed Political Fortunes Of Sacked Rivers Assembly Lawmakers

Erstwhile National Public Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka says reports that the Rivers State factional leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is extending an invitation to the former governor of the state and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, in a bid to woo him into its fold to help the party win the 2027 presidential polls for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a time-bomb waiting to explode, and mere tale of fanciful fantasy manufactured from the pigment of those who do not mean well for the APC in Rivers State and therefore should be discountanced.

Speaking with newsmen in an interview in Port Harcourt recently on the political situation in the state and ploy by some political heavyweights in APC to woo Nyesom Wike to the fold of the party, Chukwuemeka maintained that the trending tale was credited to one Tony Okocha, a self -acclaimed Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, during a  one-million- man solidarity march for Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in Port Harcourt recently.

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka, who quoted Okocha as describing the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, “as a political strategist, who cannot be ignored in Rivers State politics, ” added that Nyesom Wike lacked such torch.

He further said, if the FCT Minister joins the party, it will not be easier for him to win elections for Tinubu in Rivers State, going by the current crisis rocking the state and the lost of he( Wike’s) relevance, creditability and integrity, if Mr. President is ready for re-election.”Wike lacked the ability and charisma to reform the party talkless of becoming leader of the party in the state.

“Wike cannot be a ‘game – changer ‘ as mentioned by Tony Okocha, as he has no midas torch to reform honour ably the APC in the state, which can motivated any right -thinking politician to woo him into the mainstream of the party’s activities in order to help win the 2027 presidential elections for President Tinubu.

Reacting further to Tony Okocha’s statement which was made available to the media, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka described Tony Okocha as a worthless jobber and notorious political tradesman notable for his zero mileage in moral compass and always exhibiting nuisance in the media space to beat the target of his paymasters without recourse to posterity and the effects of his damning character to his immediate family.

The APC Chieftain restated  that as non- members and strangers to the party, the likes of Mr. Tony Okocha and former governorship candidate under the umbrella of the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) in the 2023 governorship poll in the state, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe will never mean any good to the APC in Rivers State,as a peep into their trajectory will reveal their penchant for sycophancy to always initiate action that would stir up crisis and incite one against another for their selfish ends, which have never served any public interest.

He said the duo of Okocha and Abe joined SDP during the 2023 general elections and refused to participate in the validation of membership of APC during the revalidation exercise sanctioned by the highest organ of the party, and wondered how non- members would woo Nyesom Wike into a party, which membership they do not even hold.

“Any person being wooed is an avowed enemy of the party who did everything in his powers to frustrate the coming of the party to Rivers State; hundreds of party men died fighting for the APC in Rivers State yet strangers like Tony Okocha are gallivanting all over the media space to prove a point that only exist to mock the families of slain party men, the heroes of Rivers APC,” he said.

The APC henchman stated that Wike, deep down, knows that he planted Okocha for crisis and he is also aware that the clown from Rumuigbo is not a member of the APC, but a mere jobber doing his bidding for some kick- back, and that is one reason he can never be taken seriously.

“Untill Wike shows total remorse for all that  he did to decimate the APC, in the state, the party faithful who lost their lives fighting his gunmen, and decides to respect the true leadership of the party in the state, he is not welcomed into the party, and should continue to play his hide and seek game with his Abuja friends”, Eze said.

On the state of the sacked 25 Rivers Assembly lawmakers,

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka said the court has made its position in line with the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, that should stop parading themselves as lawmakers, henceforth and go back home to join their spouses and children and chart a new course.

Eze counseled the stranded lawmakers to channel their woes to Nyesom Wike, who lured them into the thoughtless action that has stocked them into limbo.

The APC Chief commended the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) leadership especially, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, during the last National Executive Council ( NEC) meeting of the party, demonstrated that he is still the master of the game by ensuring that all efforts by Nyesom Wike to create division and disunity in the leadership of the PDP to create way for his stranded ex-lawmakers to have a ground for decamping to their woes were contained.

He, therefore, urged the erstwhile lawmakers to respect the decision of the court which aligns with position of the 1999 Constitution and quietly retire home to their families to avoid the wrath of the red pen.
