Cleric Tells Nigerian Mothers

A seasoned gospel preacher in Rivers State and wife of the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor(Dr.) Peace Ibiyeomie says that obedience to God’s word remains pathway to greatness in life.
Speaking at this year Mothers’ Day celebration on the theme : A Child of Destiny ‘ with the text in Jeremiah Chapter 29:11, Ibiyeomie maintained that a child of destiny as a person who is destined for greatness despite all odds with an expectation of fulfilling his or her purpose in the earth, which she said, should be anchored effectively on the word of God.
She said that to achieve better lifestyle, mothers’ should ensure that their children must be made to accept challenges, and put their trust on the Lord, describing children of destiny as apple in God’s eyes.
The servant of God who anchored her assertion through Isaiah 43:19 and Proverbs 13:20, urged children and their parents, particularly, their mothers to monitor and access the company they keep, adding that the association one keeps will either make or mar them.
Dr. Peace Ibiyeomie explained that some certain relationship with peer group definitely will pull such children down, according to Psalms 100:2
She further enjoined Children to imbibe the spirit of self discipline as enshrined in 1Corinthians 9:27 and Proverbs 25:28 respectively.
On accessing for one’s greatness, Dr. Peace Ibiyeomie charged children to be weary of friends whose foundation is not in God rather put their interest and trust in God for such purpose in life.
She also demanded that destiny children should have possiblity in all ramifications, stir up the atmosphere through worship.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peace Ibiyeomie has also admonished children to take bold step as recorded in Hebrews 12:1-2, James 2:26 and Joshua 1:9, which stands as facts that enhances God’s word and attract His intervention by one’s faith as in Psalms 119:97.
On the event , she implored mothers’ globally to ensure that they remain committed in the service of God and their roles as home- builders for better and prosperous future, adding that,”They should mediate on God’s word, as such the revelation from God’s word became imperative in their christian adventures by being a covenant practitioner at all times as embodied in Gen 8:22,Luke 6:38 and Genesis 26:12, among others.
