The federal government in this regime of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu will boost urban planning and shelter for all Nigerians through affordable cost of building materials and price reduction of cement, says Hajiya Sa’adiya Aminu- Aliyu.
Making this assertion at Nasarawa State University keffi during the Launch of the international conference of urban Town planners organized by the department of urban and regional planning Nasarawa state university keffi recently.
The conference which dwell on the THEME; urban planning, energy transition and resilient was attended by various stakeholders across the country at the instance of the outgoing Vice Chancellor professor Suleiman Bala Usman Mohammed, the Emir of Keffi. Dr. Shehu Usman Chindo Yamusa III the Federal Minister of Housing and urban development Arc. Ahmed M. Dangiwa and host of others.
Citting: Hajia Sa’adiya Aminu-Aliyu maintained that having resilient cities which are the best as obtained in other developed economies.
She said urban shelter builds affordable and high end homes for sale in Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna and Niger states, its focus is primarily on a range of low mid market housing, such that urban shelter has undertaken project using innovation locally produced sustainable materials to drive down, build cost to deliver affordable housing as well as explore more sophisticated projects such as retails and commenced development.
“For Nigerians to enhance its potential we need participation from everyone in the economy” she stated.
“The future of Africa is the youth outreach activities which include sanitation project and school improvement near real estate developed as well as mentoring young girls, I use my voice as a female leader to promote gender equality”.
