CHARTER FOR THE NATIONWIDE MASS PROTEST AND REVOLUTION NOW PREPARED BY GANI FAWEHINMI FAITHFULS’ REVOLUTION MOVEMENT AND NIGERIAN PERTINENT GENERATION (NPG) FOR YOUR KIND CONSIDERATION.

STATE OF THE NATION

The situation in our country today does not call for celebration, just as weeping isn’t the solution as well, but the way forward.

DECADENCE OF APC AND ITS LEADING.

Since 2015, Nigerians have been following the ruling party – APC and its leading, and the trend of things.

i.  Nigerians are never satisfied or happy with the way the ruling party (APC) has been desecrating and polluting our democracy, or contaminating our political institution with giving and receiving bribes, electoral malpractices and falsification of results and certificate, breach of trust and oath of office, lack of respect for the rule of law and constitution.

ii.  Since 1960, Nigeria has ceased to be a colonised nation. Our fathers fought for the independence of our great country and liberated us from colonial rule and masters.. But today, how free are we?  The ruling party (APC) has mortgaged the country to the whites again through ceaseless borrowing, foreign loans and grants, and seeking counsels.

WHY THE NATIONWIDE MASS PROTEST AND REVOLUTION NOW?.

The state of our nation has continued to affect many lives, homes and marriages, economy and businesses.

1. INSECURITY OF LIFE AND PROPERTY

Mourning and weeping are common occurrences under this regime.  So many are weeping and mourning for the death of hundreds of Nigerian youths who were massacred by Buhari Government during the endSARS nationwide protest, tens of thousands of Nigerian farmers who have been slaughtered across the country by Fulani herdsmen AK-47 carriers, Boko Haram terrorists.

2.  BEREAVEMENT UNDER THIS REGIME

So many families are bereaved. The only breadwinner of the family has been murdered by terrorists, abducted and killed by kidnappers or armed bandits, or died in ghastly accident.

3.  SICKNESS AND DISEASES

There are those who are in deep pains and anguish, sorrows and bitterness of heart because of one ailment or the other, and there is no one to assist the family, not even the government.

4.  POVERTY AND NEGLECT, HUNGER AND STARVATION.

A lot of Nigerians are weeping for lack of food, job, money and accommodation. So many complaints:  my children have not eaten since morning or yesterday, we have nothing to eat at home, my husband has been sacked, and there is no money to send the children to school, we have been given quit notice by the landlord and there is no where to go among others.

5.  HUMILIATION AND FRUSTRATION

There are those in deep sorrows and bitterness of hearts because of humiliation and frustration at place of work, office, academic, business and professional careers because they have refused to compromise, concede or dance to the tune of their director, lecturer or boss.

6.  BROKEN RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE.

There are those who are wailing and weeping because of broken relationship or marriage. A couple that has been married for more than one or two decades and all of a sudden the man lost his job, or little disagreement, and they could not reconcile.

7.  WAYWARDNESS.

So many parents and guardians are weeping because of their wayward child or children. So many parents and guardians have lost control over their children.

8.  OTHER REASONS

i.  Exchange rate is N1500 to 1$, and collapse of capital market itself and vital sectors of the economy.

ii.  Bank interest rate is 18.75%, on the high side

iii.  Non regular payment of salary and allowances

iv. Irregular supply of electricity and water

v.  All our refineries are not working

vi.  Aviation industry is dead,  iron and steel industry is dead, Nigeria Railway Corporation is malfunctioning.

vii.  Education, health, research sports training and development institutions are underfunded.

viii. High cost of living, feeding and governance. A bag of rice N77,000,  derica of rice N1200,  Kongo of Gari (4 litre size) N2000- N2500,  Bread N1500,  cooking gas N1300/Kg, a bag of cement N10,000.

ix. Ceaseless borrowing and large dependent on foreign loans and grants.

x. Subsidy removal especially fuel subsidy removal.

WHY REVOLUTION NOW?

Revolution? Of course revolution now! We need revolution to forcibly overthrow the ruling party APC and its leading because they have no meaningful specifics to offer, and we can no longer contain the sufferings and hardships. Also, we need revolution to bring our nation to relevance, liveliness and activeness again.

SOME REVOLUTIONS IN WORLD HISTORY

1.  AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

The American revolution was the insurrection fought between 1775-1783 through which 13 of great Britain’s colonies threw off British Rule to establish the sovereign United States of America.

2. FRENCH REVOLUTION

The French revolution was a period of radical political and societal change in France that began with the Estates Generals of 1789 and ended with the formation of the French Consulate in November 1799.

3.  RUSSIAN REVOLUTION.

The Russian revolution of 1917 that overthrew the imperial government and placed the Bolsheviks in power is evergreen.

4. CHINESE REVOLUTION

The Chinese revolution occurred 1910-1912. It was a nationalist democratic revolution that overthrew the Qing or Manchu dynasty in 1912 which gave birth to Republic of China.

NIGERIA REVOLUTION NOW!

USA, France, Russian, China, etc. had their own share of revolution, it is our turn in Nigeria. No nation develops by chance, it must be worked out.

WHAT IS OUR MAIN FOCUS AND TACTICS?.

As we embark on nationwide mass protest and revolution, our main focus is to get the right course to enter into the land of rest.  Thus, if we allow the soldiers to lead us through the revolution ( just like the angel of God led the Israelites to the promised land), there shall be no lost of lives and property, save the evil perpetrators and economy destroyers, and we shall be able to sit down with the military to fashion a new course for our country. There is a difference between a planned revolution and planned coup. This is no coup but revolution.

WHY SHOULD SOLDIERS FORCIBLY OVERTHROW APC AND LEADING?

Military interjection becomes necessary to avert and stop the evil perpetrators and economy destroyers and spoilers to use them against the masses and to stop wastage of innocent lives in our bid to stage nationwide mass protest.
