Alhaji Abdulaziz Danladi, a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says he is vying for the House of Representatives to provide quality representation.

Danladi (APC-Keffi East) made this known when he visited local government chairmen, councilors and APC executive members of Keffi, Karu and Kokona Local Government Areas on Thursday.

He solicited the support of the APC stakeholders, officials and party members in the three areas to enable him win the upcoming House of Representatives primaries for Keffi/Karu/Kokona federal constituency.

Danladi, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Works, said that the visit was to solicit their support.

“The visit is also to congratulate and identify with the executive members on their victory at the party congresses.

“I am here with my team to solicit for your support in the forthcoming APC primaries for Keffi/Karu/Kokona federal constituency.

“In 1999, Hon. Salisu Raj from Karu represented us at the House of Representatives, then Hon. Aliyu Ahmed Wadada followed by Hon. Ishaq Kana from Kokona Local Government Area.

“Presently the seat is being occupied by Hon. Jonathan Gaza from Karu Local Government Area for eight years now.

“If we really want to be just to ourselves, it is the turn of Keffi Local Government to produce the next House of Representatives in my person.

“I will represent you well and I will not dissappoint you, if elected into the green Chamber of the National Assembly,” he said.

Abdulaziz said that he performed well and is representing the people of Keffi East constituency well, while assuring to do more, if given the mandate of the National Assembly.

“The people of Keffi East constituency, among others, can testify of what I have done and still doing in order to impact positively on their lives and the lives of others.

“I have done a lot and I want to do more to the people of Keffi/Karu/Keffi Federal Constituency, if voted into office come 2023,” he said.

Danladi also called on the delegates and people of the area to vote Gov. Abdullahi Sule during the APC governorship primary election in the state and general elections.

The aspirant said that Sule was committed to the development of the state, hence the need for the people to support him for second term.

Responding, Messrs Baba Shehu and Auwalu Adamu, Chairmen of Keffi and Kokona Local Government Areas, respectively, and Mr Lawal Yakubu, the Deputy Chairman of Karu LGA, all lauded Danladi over his quality representation at the state legislature.

Also speaking, Messrs Lawal Sidi, Abu Philemon, Suleiman Mallam, Speakers of Keffi, Kokona and Karu Local Government Legislative Councils, respectively, wished the lawmaker well in his political ambition.

They all assured the lawmaker of their support.

Earlier, Alhaji Ahmed Mairago, the Acting Chairman, Danladi Campaign Organisation, urged the delegates to vote for the lawmaker considering his track records of achievements.

He said that Danladi has proven to be a good legislator, hence the need to support him.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Danladi also promised to give a brand new Bajaj motorcycle to Mr Alade John, a physically challenged APC official in Kokona LGA. (NAN)
