The Arewa Decide, Adamawa Chapter, has embarked on voter education and awareness creation at the local government level to secure more votes for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Ahmed Aliyu, spokesperson of the group, stated this while briefing newsmen at the end of their rally in Yola on Saturday.
He said that the aim of the rally was to create awareness on the forthcoming general elections in support of Atiku Abubakar.
He described Atiku as a man with multiple capacity as politician and business man.
According to him, Atiku have done excellently well in running the country when he was the Vice President of the federal republic of Nigeria.
He added that his experience and determination would enable him to run the country well and bring more developmental milestones in the area of security, Health, education and poverty alleviation among other challenges.
“We are doing this to have a hitch free and successful elections that will give us utmost victory in peace during the election.
“I am assuring you going by our efforts that we are going to succeed in the state and country at large,” he said.
He appreciated cooperation of the party supporters for the rally and urged them to double their efforts to ensure the victory of the party, come 2023.
“As you can see the turnout is very interesting. We have about 4,000 in attendance and we are going to do another one that will ginger the whole country,” he said.
